Hello, everyone!
Back to our paradise discussion.
One of the products that can give you a little taste of paradise is Relaxing Massage Oil. To explain, the oil alone does not give the heavenly feeling, it’s getting the massage while using this special oil to go along with it.
It’s interesting that yesterday, as we celebrated Yom Kippur, we were on a higher plane of existence, and forbidden from engaging in some physical aspects of human life. Of the five things forbidden, besides not eating or drinking or bathing, is not smearing oil on ourselves. Which goes to show that applying oil to oneself is an essential pleasure! So don’t underestimate the power of a fine, deep-tissue, oil-infused massage.
Before I rave about the oil, let me rave about the power of massage. I had a health issue once, a long time ago. It was intense, and I was in survival mode. All I could do was take care of myself, if I was able. I did acupuncture, herbs, and went to an intuitive nutritionist. I went to doctors. But I couldn't kick it. And I had a house full of little children that had to be taken care of!
My friend, a masseuse, offered to give me a massage for my birthday. I took her up on it. When the hour was up, I felt like I could have used a whole second hour. The next morning, behold! I was okay. I could function. I felt alive. I took care of my family, and all went back to normal. I thanked Hashem for the miracle. I understood that perhaps my body was already trying to get rid of whatever was bothering it, and I was almost there, but that this may have been the push for me to finally snap out of it. Either way, if the total cure was the massage (I doubt it) or if it just pushed me over the (good) edge, I was sold on it. Practically speaking, the massage is what made me feel better.
I also want to mention what is known about the health benefits of massage, to encourage my readers to view it as a big ticket win for your health, not just a luxury item.
Massage is known for these benefits: In general, it helps create a relaxed state and alleviate pain, discomfort, anxiety, and fatigue. An abdominal massage can help with constipation, and a head-neck-shoulder massage can relieve headaches. Therapeutic massage can help insomnia from stress and temporarily help arthritic joint pain. Massage can relieve symptoms of fibromyalgia, myofascial pain, and can improve circulation in older people and in pregnant women.
Add to that the benefits of the relaxing herbal massage oil. The oil not only allows the massage to be carried out smoothly, your skin and tissue being gently stretched and manipulated, but the herbs in it penetrate your skin, which is the largest organ of your body!
Here are the herbs included in the Peaches ‘n Cream Herbals Relaxing Massage Oil:
Hops, the deeply relaxing herb that is used to make beer and to help induce sleep, is the key player here.
Chamomile is also relaxing and anti-inflammatory.
Bay leaves provide muscular relaxation. They also reduce pain, swelling, and congestion.
Comfrey, to me, is the king of herbs! It's wonderfully healing and rejuvenating for your skin.
Also in my recipe are rich and nourishing coconut oil, cocoa butter, and lanolin. And essential oils of cedarwood, lavender, sandalwood and white camphor each add subtle health-and mood enhancing qualities to the experience.
This massage oil need not only be used by a professional masseuse, you can actually rub it on yourself. Self-massage with these ingredients can do wonders. (I can tell you a story… for another time!)
So, hopefully you’re convinced. Order your bottle soon! I have just brewed a new batch of several aromatic bottles--first come, first served!
Have a wonderful, gut, gebentsht yohr, a year full of sweet blessings, and feelings of paradise too!
