Hi, everyone! I’m blessed to have my mother very involved in my life, expressing interest and encouragement in all that I do. She is also a giving person and likes to give gifts when she meets up with friends or visits relatives. One way she takes care of her gift-giving and also supports my business is by ordering products from me that she can use as gifts. I’m fortunate too, that I have these products available in my house because they come in useful as teachers’ gifts for Chanuka and at the end of the year.
So I thought I'd give you some gift ideas if you need some new ones, all from peachesncreamherbals.com! So here goes:
Summer gift: You can give Creamy Sunscreen. There are two options, a pourable one and a fingertip spreader. I love either version. One jar lasts me a year! Just a small amount is needed and it goes a long way. You can add the Fly Away Insect Repellent; it has a deep, herby smell with a hint of eucalyptus in an easy roll-on bottle of extra virgin olive oil infused with plants that bugs hate. You can also add a minty lip balm for a refreshing lip-touch-up.
Teens going away to camp or school: Can you tell I have both? It’s hard to send kids away, but part of what makes it easier is plying them with gifts, homemade cookies and organic sourdough rolls, plus anything they might need from my peaches ‘n cream herbal products. Teens will enjoy lemon eucalyptus or lavender lemongrass deodorant; they’re mild, easily applied, effective and gentle. They will like the Cinnamon Hand Soap; a tiny drop literally kills bad smells in a second, and it uses natural cinnamon-y, lemon-y antibacterial essential oils instead of chemicals. And Herb Fresh Mouth Rinse, because teens are into that! It will keep their mouths clean and healthy with its herb-infused alcohol and peppermint essential oil. A few sizes are available. Herbal Tooth Powder--so much more wholesome than toothpaste. It's different enough that I don’t ask my little ones to use it, but my teenagers are more open-minded about it. It is made of tooth-friendly plants, clay, himalayan salt and spearmint essential oil. One other product that may interest teenagers is the Scar Healing Salve with specially blended essential oils good for rejuvenating scarred skin. Just a drop on a scab or acne mark a couple times a day can prove helpful and healing.
Newlyweds! A new life, and time to try new things, mostly luxurious ones! So I’d give them Lavender Bath Salts and Relaxing Massage Oil. Antiseptic Healing Salve is an excellent first aid home essential that could be included. I'd also give Spice it With Herbs to add some culinary finesse to the couple’s meals together.
Housewarming: I haven’t been to a chanukas habayis in so long, but if I would go to one I’d probably bring Spice It with Herbs, Cinnamon Sugar Body Scrub, and Arnica Healing Salve.
New Mom gift: For before or after she gives birth, these pampering items will shower her with warmth and care in this emotional time and support her physically as well. Nourishing Tea is… well, nourishing! And Liniment for Varicose Veins is pain-relieving. And Soothing Salve is great for diaper rash. Baby Massage Oil is the only cosmetic I use on my babies their first year. I rub it all over their little bodies, especially in the crevices, then rinse off the baby in a warm bath. No soap is necessary. Babies love their massage time. For emergency use, mullein oil is good for calming ear infections as well as coughs. And if the mother could use a booster in her milk supply, Lots More Milk tincture can give great assistance.
Get Well gifts should have Bidens Pilosa to fight infections, Elderberry Syrup for colds and flus, Iron Syrup for anemia and debility and Breathe Deep Vapor Balm for coughs. Digestive Bitters can help those prone to indigestion. Most people would appreciate Nourishing Brain Tonic.
Birthday gifts that are awesome: Rose Face Cream, Botanical Water, Gentle Facial Wash, Facial Scrub, and Lavender Hand Cream.
A Just Because Gift: anything you fancy! Maybe a Go-to-Sleep Tea, perhaps Calcium Tincture, or any one of the creams, salves, face scrubs or Bath Salts. Think of something and splurge on your friend.
After all, it's the Three Weeks now, actually the Nine Days, a time to be super kind to everyone!
Enjoy my ideas and please share yours with me!
Have a wonderful day!
