For baby, the softest of the soft natural herbs infused into organic olive oil will make a delightful body rub. For baby’s first year, we massage him/her using the oil as a cleanser, rubbing into all crevices to dissolve dirt. Then we bathe him/her in plain warm water, and don’t use soap. Chamomile, roses, lavender, and comfrey smell delightful and provide healing and protection. We add essential oil of orange for a subtle pleasing scent. Baby Massage Oil
Spread a soft towel under baby so as not to stain sheets. Massage oil in circular motion all over baby’s body, especially in crevices where dirt lingers. Then bathe baby in plain warm water, rubbing crevices with your hands to remove all the dirt.
