Mullein Flower Ear Oil
Mullein flower oil is known for its analgesic, emollient and antimicrobial effects on ear aches when applied to babies’ ears. (Not when eardrums are perforated! Perforated eardrums should not have anything put in them to avoid infection.)
Our oil was infused over 3 months with 3 batches of mullein flowers for triple soothing quality. It is also beneficial for coughs: rub on the chest and allow the sedative and softening characteristics to seep through the skin and relax the cough. For cradle cap, psoriasis or dandruff, rub onto affected areas and wash off after 20 minutes.
Ingredient: Organic extra virgin olive oil infused with organic mullein oil
Mullein Flower Ear Oil
To unperforated ear drums, pour a few drops of warmed mullein flower ear oil several times a day into both ears of a child with an ear ache, several times a day (every half hour when in a lot of pain). To warm up you can put some on a spoon and hold over a fire for a couple of minutes, then check with your finger for a safe temperature.
