Sometimes we just need a hot, relaxing tea to help us settle into sleep mode. While emotional calm is probably key to an excellent sleep, this wonderful tea can help the process along. Hops, the bitter herb that creates beer, is the main ingredient, and to balance the bitterness are other pleasant tasting and calm inducing herbs: chamomile, lavender, lemon balm and catnip. Plus you may experience other benefits of these herbs from the nutrition they provide like improved digestion and loading up on vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.

 

Add a spoon of honey to your strained tea to mask the bitterness and bring out the other flavors. Enjoy, and rest well!
